YOUNG ENTERPRISE launches FREE offer 22/23 for students and teachers.

10X ChallengeThe Challenge (10xchallenge.org.uk)Over four weeks (27th February – 24th March) young people, aged 12-18, will use a £10 pledge to get their business ideas off the ground.  A highly interactive and fun programme introducing enterprise and financial education and enhancing key skills, including communication, creativity, problem solving, teamwork and confidence.

My Money WeekYoung Money – MMW Resource Hub (young-enterprise.org.uk)My Money Week (12th-16th June) is a national activity week for primary and secondary school aged children and young people, providing a fantastic opportunity for them to gain the skills, knowledge and confidence in money matters to thrive in society. The resources are flexible for use in a variety of settings, and the latest resources include both a Teacher’s Guide and a Home Learning Guide to support teachers, parents, and youth workers in using the My Money Week resources both in school and at home.

 

YE’s Learning Zone e-coursesYE Learning Zone – Young Enterprise & Young Money (young-enterprise.org.uk) – We offer three 1.5-2 hour e-courses.  My Money Matters, Route to Success, Employable Me.  These are offered fully-funded for selected schools in more disadvantaged areas and just £5/head for all other schools.

 

For teachers

Financial Education CPDYoung Money LMS – Login (y-e.org.uk) – We offer three 1.5-2 hour e-courses. Two courses explore financial education within the context of the primary and secondary curriculum in England. The third course; The Teachable Moment explores financial education in the context of the current and new Curriculum for Wales.

 

Financial Education Resource hubResources and Tools – Young Enterprise & Young Money (young-enterprise.org.uk) – Tools and Quality Mark resources produced by us and the organisations we support that can be used by educators in formal and non-formal settings, parents/carers and children and young people themselves.  Many are free but some do have a cost associated with them.
