  • 18-20th June 2024 9.30am-3.30pm: Get into music: Oli Morris and guest from the UK Music (see attached flyer). This opportunity will be of interest if students have an interest in music and want to find out more about the industry; Need experience as well as an opportunity to immerse themselves in the industry; Need to learn more about careers in the music spotlight and behind the scenes. S4S delivery officers will send the necessary joining link and guidance to your students once they have registered, applied for the opportunity, and been accepted. Educators need to register first however so the student can identify them as their educator when they join.


Virtual Work Experience in partnership with the Careers and Enterprise Company: Years 7-10

Speakers for Schools are working with The Careers and Enterprise Company to deliver virtual work experience opportunities open to KS3 and Year 10this June/July!

Explore the world of work with employers from a range of industries, including HSBC, QinetiQ, Arc Group London, Modern Art Oxford, Reed Smith and many more!

With six unique project briefs meeting Gatsby 5&6, and a choice between an in-class teacher-led model or a student-led model, we have something to suit all schools and students!

Students will work through an engaging project brief while receiving feedback and guidance from leading employers! Students will participate in:

  • Virtual Tours
  • Insights into roles and careers on offer
  • Q+A session with employers

Dates are flexible so please reach out if you have Year 10s who have not secured a placement for their WEX week!
