Harnessing the young talent of Cornwall to create a more productive, sustainable and equal society is her key motivator and when she’s finished work for the day you’ll normally find her with a houseful plus a dog or two.
Ruth has worked in and around further and higher education settings for over 17 years. Her passion for supporting social mobility stems from her educational journey and own personal triumphs in life.
Ruth loves paddle-boarding as much as she can (she says it’s much better than going to the gym). Otherwise entertaining the family pets, Butch, Dave and Agnes – also known as her ‘babies’.
Driven by his love for the ocean and passion for the outdoors, Frankie arrived in Cornwall in 2008 where he started Higher Education after as well as prolonging his career within hospitality before diversifying his skills and eventually embarking on a decade-long journey within the world of recruitment and business engagement. Advocating for inclusive recruitment and career education opportunities, in his downtime Frankie enjoys family life and early morning surf sessions.
